Lori Andersen, President
Lori (Tucson) is the Assistant Director of the Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection, and an adjunct faculty member of Pima Community College. She has experience working in tribal education, youth programs, and Fine Arts.
Scott Jones, Secretary
Scott (Phoenix) works for the Sierra Club to protect Arizona’s five newest national monuments. A longtime volunteer in progressive and environmental causes, he studied political science, public administration, and nonprofit management at Arizona State University.
Mike Quigley, Treasurer
Mike (Tucson) has worked for the federal government and several private corporations. Currently, he is on staff at the Sky Island Alliance and an advocate for environmental conservation.
David Wrench
David (Marana) spent his last working years as Business Development Director for Weathernews Inc; providing website weather page feeds for Yahoo, USA Today, Disney and many others. After retiring to Arizona in 1998 Mr. Wrench has volunteered at the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum in the Botany and Invader programs, is in the Cat Mountain Hiking club, the Sonoran Desert Weedwackers, and has served as a member and officer of the Tucson Soaring Club.
John Scheuring
John (Oro Valley) works with the Arizona Archeological Site Stewardship program, the Arizona Native Plant Society, and the Marana Heritage Conservancy. Plans activities with those groups to familiarize, educate, and prepare future public communications and activities on the monument’s cultural and biological resources.
