National Public Lands Day 2025

When: Saturday, December 6, start at 7:30AM

Where: Parking Area inside Manville Road Portal to the National Monument

This workday will be a joint effort between the Friends of the Ironwood Forest and the Desert Fence Busters.   The work will be focused at the Manville Rd. portal to the National Monument.  We will be trimming brush, seeding wildflowers near the parking area and removing some fencing in the Monument.  Following the work activity we will be providing a lunch for all the volunteers.

We will meet at the Parking Area just inside the National Monument on Manville Rd. at 7:30AM. We will begin work at 8:00AM.  Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and work. Bring water and snacks. 

We will complete the workday by 12:30 or earlier as the tasks complete and have lunch.
